Rick "accidently" fell in love with Offroading when, at the age of 10,
he came across an early 1980s "Off Road Yearbook" for sale in a bookshop. His parents were persuaded to buy it and the racing obsession bloomed from then. Rick won 3 club championships in slotcars in the early 90's, as well as plenty of Enduro trophies before moving on to win a Golbourn "Bush Bash" successive times driving bush bashers with Garry Myers (Sydney Off Road Rush). Rick held the 2nd place trophy for the NSW Off Road Championship in class 2 in '03, as well as a Sydney club championship trophy as well. Rick and Garry have just completed a new A-Arm open class V8 buggy.

That's why I enjoy sharing the thrill of offroading at Off Road Rush - seeing people getting the same kick driving a full-on racecar that I get!
